Our Elopement FAQs

Have a question that isn't covered here?
We want to hear from you.

Get in Touch

How late can the wedding celebration go?

To maintain the serenity of our location and show respect to our neighbours, we observe quiet hours beginning at 10 pm. Indoor celebrations may continue at a reasonable volume, but outdoor amplified sound must conclude by this time.

What are the rules for serving alcohol at the lodge?

We do not provide bar services, but you are welcome to bring your own alcohol for your wedding as long as it is served responsibly. If you plan to sell alcohol at your event, you must obtain the appropriate liquor license or work with a licensed bartender to ensure compliance with local liquor laws. For a unique and beautifully styled option, Lost Things Distillery in Pincher Creek offers a charming mobile bar service in a reimagined horse trailer. Let us know if you'd like an introduction!

What if it rains?

There are a few options if the weather is not ideal. If it’s just rainy and not windy, dinner could potentially be held on the wrap-around deck. If the weather is terrible, we also have a shop to set up and serve dinner.

What is the cancellation/rescheduling policy?

Cancellations within six months may result in forfeiting 25% of the total cost; cancellations within 3 months will result in forfeiting 50% of the total cost. Rescheduling is possible based on availability, but fees may apply, especially if changes are made within three months of your wedding date.

What is the maximum capacity?

Our lodge has four bedrooms, each with the ability for double occupancy (maximum of 8 occupants). Each room has a separate bathroom. Depending on availability, there are additional accommodations nearby for larger groups. The maximum capacity for ceremony/reception/dinner is 20 guests.

Do you allow dogs?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the lodge.

Do you allow outside vendors?

We have a fantastic list of preferred vendors, but you can bring in outside caterers or vendors with prior approval. If you choose external vendors, a small vendor coordination fee may apply.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Our lodge is not well set up for individuals with mobility challenges. We have one bedroom in the walkout basement, but access to the rest of the house requires one or more staircases.

Do you have onsite parking?

Yes, we offer ample onsite parking.

Can guests camp on the property?

To preserve the comfort of our guests, protect our rural septic system, and maintain good relationships with our neighbors, we do not allow camping on the property. However, there are local options for additional accommodations nearby. Please reach out for recommendations!
